R.W. Corkery & Co. undertakes and/or coordinates a wide range of baseline environmental programmes to assist the quarrying and mining industry to establish pre-operational levels of noise, water and air quality.  Data from these monitoring programmes is incorporated into Environmental Impact Assessments and is subsequently compared against data in operational phases to evaluate the effectiveness of environmental controls adopted at the quarry or mine.
